Kirsty's journey in the beauty and hair industry began with a strong foundation. She started by studying Level 1&2 Hairdressing at a family-run salon in her hometown of Winchburgh. This early education ignited her passion for the craft and laid the groundwork for her future success.
Driven by a desire to excel in her field, Kirsty pursued further education at West Lothian College, where she undertook an HNC/HND beauty therapy program. This decision broadened her skill set and opened up new opportunities in the beauty sector.
Kirsty's dedication to her craft was truly evident during her three years of hands-on experience, where she worked diligently at an establishment in Queensferry. This practical experience honed her skills and allowed her to fine-tune her expertise in both hairdressing and beauty therapy.
The name "MACIZ" holds a special significance to Kirsty. It's not just a business; it's a labor of love and a tribute to her daughter, MACY. Kirsty's inspiration behind the business branding stems from her deep affection for her child, making MACIZ Lounge a place that's not only professionally exceptional but also deeply personal.

RADOSTINA
Originally from the picturesque town of Pomorie in Bulgaria, Radostina arrived on the hairdressing scene with a comprehensive Level 3 Advanced Hairdressing Qualification, HNC certification, and a flair for barbering. Her journey with the team commenced in 2006, and over the years, she has solidified her standing as one of the esteemed senior stylists, boasting a loyal clientele that keeps coming back for her exceptional skills.
Radostina thrives on the diverse array of services that a typical workweek presents. Her passion lies in translating her creative vision into reality, and she revels in the opportunity to work with clients who are receptive to her imaginative ideas. When it comes to coloring, Radostina is nothing short of a master; she possesses the remarkable ability to bring to life any color concept you may have in mind.

Jemma's journey in the hair industry began at a young age. She was introduced to this captivating world at just 15, commencing her career in a prestigious Edinburgh salon. Over the course of a decade, she climbed the ladder, acquiring an extensive repertoire of skills, techniques, and experience that shines through in her present work.
Backed by Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ certifications in hairdressing, Jemma has cultivated a wealth of expertise throughout her professional journey. Her unwavering passion for this field radiates through her daily services, and if she could specialize in one particular area indefinitely, it would undoubtedly be coloring blondes. "They provide me with a blank canvas to unleash my creativity," she enthuses."
GEMMA
Gemma found her way to our team via West Lothian College while pursuing her SVQ 3 as part of their placement program. Highly recommended by her tutors, it became immediately evident why she came with such acclaim. Her strong work ethic, insatiable appetite for learning, boundless enthusiasm, and a deep passion for the industry align seamlessly with the world of hairdressing.
Since joining us as a permanent stylist in 2022, Gemma has rapidly cultivated a devoted clientele who eagerly seek her expertise. Despite being our most recently qualified stylist, her work and service exude a level of experience that makes it seem as though she's been in the industry for years.
